There’s no better way to stand out from the crowd than wearing an original design, maybe even one of your own and you don’t have to be Lisa Ho to look fantastic!
Simple tees are always in fashion. Pair them with a cardi and some Nudie jeans for the ultimate casual combination. There’s a heap of online stores where you can whatever you like printed on a tee and delivered to your door for a reasonable price. My favourite is Café Press.
They don’t just concentrate on t-shirts, but offer hoodies, caps and even jackets for your dog! It’s as simple as uploading your design and choosing your type of clothing. Make one for a memorable, personalised gift. If you’re a bit of an artist or an aspiring designer you can get one of your works slapped on some gear and even sell it all through the Café Press store.
You can find t-shirt printing stores at most shopping malls but be sure to check the quality beforehand. Some services use cheap iron on transfers that you can do yourself for much less! Look out for high quality ‘ink’ or ‘screen’ printing services as that are longer lasting.
The Graniph Design T-shirt Store in the Galleries Victoria (near Townhall station, Sydney) is another great, original shop. Originating in Japan, Graniph now has outlets all over the world with the Sydney store being the first one outside of Asia. Their impressive list of designers includes photographer Jan Von Hollenben and illustrator Miko Rantanen who create fresh, unique t-shirts which come in both guys and girls cuts.
